On a recent trip to Sydney I was fortunate enough to spend a day at Taronga Zoo, courtesy of a generous invitation from Joanna, a lovely friend who spent some time in Broome a number of years ago. She arranged entry for myself, my sister Julie and her partner Graham, gave us tips on where to go and what to see, and showed us some of her favourite birds and animals after she had finished work for the day. Thank you so much, Joanna!
A Taronga Zoo highlight I had been told not to miss was the bird show. It certainly was worth it; here are some highlights.
